About Me

My name is Chris Boles and I run 'Websites for Churches' alongside Caledonian Websites, my site for more general website design.

'I was a Catholic priest and member of a religious order for 30 years before leaving to marry and I now live in the Scottish Highlands. My ministries and assignments took me all over the world, working or studying in Japan, Guyana, the Philippines, Canada and Australia, among other places. I was in social justice and parish ministry in Edinburgh for more than 10 years, and in the administration offices of my religious order in London for 4 years after that. This range of experience gave me a good feel for the church worldwide and in the UK in particular.

As a priest and religious with both parish and governance experience I have a very good understanding of the website needs of churches and religious organisations and I have an ease with the language of religion that many other website developers struggle with and fail to understand.
