Welcome to Websites for Churches
Most people today turn to the internet as their first port of call for information. Whether it's to find a train timetable, a restaurant, or an old school friend, people look online.
The same is true for anyone looking for information about a Church - where can I find one when I'm on holiday, is there one close to me, what time are the services, can I get in touch to talk about a baptism or a wedding, and so on.
To satisfy the online generation these questions can only be answered by having a web presence - at the very least a Facebook page, but much better than that, a website. Facebook data gets lost very quickly, slipping down the page view as more information is added. A website, though, is laid out in such a way that information is easy to find, thanks to the menu and page structure that forms the backbone of a website.
If you are responsible for a Church or any other religious organisation and have been thinking about getting a website, or you have an old site that no longer suits your needs, then do please get in touch. I can design simple or complex sites, depending on what you need. Basic information such as service times etc can be easily placed on the Home page. Your weekly newsletter can be uploaded each Friday or Saturday. A page for donations can be added, either linked to your existing online platform, such as PAYA, or a new donation platform can be set up for you.
The site can include information about your parish council, your safeguarding training and policies, your clubs and groups, the history of your church or parish, and so on. Whatever your church is involved in it can be included in your website, and there is no limit to the number of pages your site can have. Please take a look at a few examples of websites I have designed and currently maintain to get an idea of some of the things other churches and organisations put on their website.
Enjoy browsing the site and do not hesitate to get in touch with any questions you may have.
